Berulo Foundation was founded in 2017 by Cyusa Ian Berulo, who is also the creator of the Berulo App and the Murengere Atararenga program. The foundation aims to promote education, provide humanitarian aid, support community development, train the next generation of leaders, protect human rights and create technology that helps streamline their work while enabling them to use it to fight technophobia.
We foster sustainable development by supporting small-scale projects, encouraging youth entrepreneurship, and boosting community economic growth
We strive for the well-being of all by empowering families to thrive, combating poverty, and supporting those in need.
We are committed to protecting the environment, promoting collective responsibility for our planet, and building an inclusive society
Experience the power of the Berulo app—seamlessly connecting people, simplifying tasks, and enhancing daily interactions with innovative features designed for convenience and efficiency. It also monitors attendance in early education, helping to fight against dropout and absenteeism.
The Murengere Atararenga Campaign is an educational campaign aimed at reintegrating children who have dropped out of school. The program focuses on identifying and bringing back students who have faced challenges that led them to leave school, allowing them to continue their education. The campaign began in Karongi in August 2023, where 287 children from the region were reintegrated into schools. Since then, the initiative has expanded, and to date, more than 3,200 children have been successfully brought back to school.
